Hybrid Blue Nine dot Info

The name of this site may soon be changing. I like the name "Blue Nine," but it was not my first choice. I liked it because it is a name that would not limit me to one topic.


I wanted to use the word "Blue" since Illinois is a blue state and part of my family is from the Highlands of Scotland.  I always liked the number nine for some reason. So I put them together. I got the idea of using a number when I came across a domain for a search company called Set Nine, and a hosting company called Site 5.

I wanted a word starting with the letter A so I could use the atheist scarlet A. So I finally thought of a couple that I like and reserved them. I will use GIMP to make the logo with the scarlet A.

I had thought about "Blue Atheism" or "Blue Atheist", but as I said I wanted a name that could be somewhat general. There are some posts on atheism, but not all of them are. I will make some logos and pick one of the domains that I reserved to be the main domain. I will also list some of the domains I was thinking about using and why I did not pick them. Some of them yield some pretty interesting logos and content.
